Origin: Central America
Size: 24 inches
Color: Jaguar cichlid typically have a gold to silver body, with black markings along the body!
Description: The jaguar cichlid is very aggressive cichlid with lots of personal demands! The picture below if my female that wants the entire tank to herself!

Tropheus Duboisi



Common Name(s): T. Dubois, white spot cichlid
Type: Tropheus Cichlid
Origin: Lake Tanganyika, Africa
Size: 5 inches
Color: Juveniles show an all black body with stunning white spots, as fish mature, it loses spots, produce a blue face, and grow a yellow or white band!
Description: Tropheus Duboisi is a very beautiful Tanganyikan cichlid. They are aggressive towards other Tropheus species, including their own type, so the only way to keep more thank one is to keep them in schools of 6 or more!

Common Name: Albino Red Oscar, Red Oscar
Type: Cichlid
Origin: South America
Size: Up to 12 inches
Color: The albino tiger Oscar as a white body with red markings covering various portions of the body.
Description: The albino tiger oscar is a great American cichlid; this type of fish often shows great personalities. This is a larger cichlid so it will need a minimum of 75 gallon, which is suitable for 3 at most!

Peacock bass ( Cichlia Ocellaris)

 
 
Common Name: Peacock Bass
Type: Cichlid
Origin: South America
Size: Up to 3feet
Color: Various species show different colors, mine show a golden body with black bars going along its body also with red fins.
Description: The peacock bass is a very monstrous fish needed at least a 125 gallon tank in my opinion. While this fish shows attractive coloration, it has an appetite that will devour any and every fish that can fit in to its mouth, a true predator.

Common Name(s): Bumble cichlid, Hornet Cichlid
Type: Mbuna Cichlid
Origin: Lake Malawi, Africa
Size: 8 inches
Color: Females have more yellow body with brown stripes, while male are more darker with black, dark brownish stripes!
Description: Bumble bee cichlid is one of the few Mbuna that grow quite larger. This fish is a fast grower and with its size comes its attitude!

Color: Females golden yellow with black horizontal lines, males black body with golden horizontal lines.
Description: Auratus cichlid is a very aggressive cichlid from lake Malawi. Amazing colors, but an attitude that makes it horrific. Minimum tank size is 30 gallons or more!
